ONE NIGHT. TWO STAGES.
SATURDAY, JUNE 6
Join us for our annual Bijou Jubilee, presented by Lawson Family Foundation, a festival-style celebration of the music and culture of East Tennessee. This year, Jubilee expands onto Gay Street and into the historic Bijou Theatre for an evening of nationally acclaimed artists, beloved regional performers, two-stepping, spirited festivities, and shared tables under the lights.
All-inclusive tickets grant general admission access to both outdoor and indoor stages, dinner and drinks throughout the evening, complimentary parking, and the silent auction — all in support of preserving and sustaining the Bijou Theatre for generations to come. Why it matters?
When You Celebrate, You Sustain
When you attend, bid, dance, and raise a glass at Jubilee, you help ensure:
-
A Knoxville student walks into the Bijou for their very first live performance
-
A regional artist sees their name lit on the marquee
-
Our historic theatre continues to stand at the heart of Gay Street
-
More than 80,000 people each year experience live performance in this space
Your support sustains artists, funds educational programs, preserves this 117-year-old theatre, and keeps live performance thriving in East Tennessee.
Jubilee isn’t just a party. It’s preservation in action.
Future-Forward
Help Us Keep the Lights On
As the Bijou continues to invest in preservation and long-term improvements to this historic building, Jubilee plays a critical role in funding the work that keeps this space vibrant and welcoming.
The music continues. The doors stay open. The story carries on.
Historical Connection
A Theatre Built for Gathering
For more than a century, the Bijou Theatre has been a place where East Tennessee gathers — for music, for storytelling, for laughter, and for community.
From early vaudeville acts to bluegrass legends, from independent film to contemporary artists shaping culture today, the Bijou has always reflected the spirit of this region.
Jubilee continues that tradition — not by looking back, but by bringing the music and culture of Appalachia forward, together, under one roof and out onto the street.
